PLEASE CALL 888-498-4567 A FEW WORDS FROM JUDD BATEMAN, CREATOR AND MAKER OF FLATHEAD WOODEN SHAFTS: About the weight- Hickory attack/mid shafts weigh 11- 11.5 oz. A titanium is around 6 oz. To me, the wood has a comfortable heft- throwing and hard shots have a nice momentum and it absorbs the shock when catching a hard pass. I know there are times when you want a featherlight stick and a light touch, but then there are times to bring the lumber! I also make short sticks in a variety of hardwoods. Mahogany, maple and oak weigh 8- 8.5 oz. They’re made as much for their beauty as their strength. They’re great for bare-handed use- They just feel so good! Coaches, parents, beaches, parks, or playing in cold weather, the warmth of wood sticks is a good choice. They also make great “trophy” sticks.
